Podcast: Rosa Isela - The First Hat That Changed Everything
Growing up, I was always fascinated by fashion. My earliest memories involve playing with my mother's sewing machine, dreaming of creating my own clothes. But life had a different plan for me. In 2017, I stumbled upon the art of hat-making, and it was love at first sight. The process was therapeutic, and I found myself completely immersed in the world of headwear.
My first hat was a humble creation, born out of curiosity and a bit of insecurity. Yet, as I crafted more pieces, I realized that each hat was a reflection of my passion and creativity. I experimented with materials like felt and cinnamy, each offering a unique texture and style. The magic of transforming raw materials into wearable art was exhilarating.
Participating in Fashion Week was a dream come true. The experience was transformative, opening doors to new opportunities and connections. It was a snowy day, and the atmosphere was electric. My designs graced the runway, and I felt a profound sense of accomplishment.
Today, I continue to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that resonate with my clients. Each hat is a piece of art, crafted with love and attention to detail. As I prepare for my next collection, inspired by the elegance of Jackie Kennedy, I am filled with excitement and anticipation.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I invite you to explore my creations at rosaicela.com and follow my work on Instagram at rosaicelacouture. Every piece is unique, just like you.
